Student-Athlete Eligibility Rules And Regulations
Academic Eligibility:
- In order to maintain eligibility within a quadmester, a student athlete must complete at least 90% of the homework assigned. If you have 10 classes per week, you must do homework for at least 9 classes. If you do not complete 90% of the homework in any two (2) weeks, you are ineligible to play in at least one (1) upcoming game.
- In addition, you must maintain an average above 70% on each report card (3.0 GPA) in order to be eligible to play (practice and compete).
Attendance Requirements:
- In order to maintain eligibility within a quadmester, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum of 90% school attendance in the quadmester used for eligibility evaluation. This means that in any given week, you are able to miss one (1) class. If you miss additional class time, a doctor’s note must be provided.
- A student-athlete must be present in school and must attend all scheduled classes in order to participate in any tryout or practice on that day.
