Join us during summer 2026 for a world-class academic and athletic experience in the heart of downtown Toronto! The Uchenna Academy Summer Basketball and ESL Program combines college-level basketball training with an Ontario-accredited English credit course (ESL) – all within one of Canada’s most vibrant urban neighbourhoods.

Our campus is situated in the Dupont and Dovercourt district, a creative and fast-growing area filled with local cafés, studios, and sports culture. Students live and train just minutes from downtown landmarks, the waterfront, and Toronto’s major sports venues.

Program Highlights

🏀 Daily Basketball Training – Train under professional coaches and strength & conditioning specialists. Sessions focus on skills, tactics, athletic development, and game IQ—offering an authentic college-level training experience in a professional setting.

📚 Earn a High School ESL Credit – Students complete an intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) course taught by certified instructors. Upon successful completion, participants receive an Ontario Ministry of Education high school credit—recognized by universities in Canada and the U.S.

🏡 Downtown Residence Stay – Enjoy 3 weeks in our semi-private rooms in the school residence, steps away from our school grounds, and in the heart of Toronto. Students live in a safe, supervised environment with peers from around the world, experiencing life in one of North America’s top cities.

🍽️ Full Meal Plan (Mon–Fri) – Three nutritious meals per day designed for student-athletes, emphasizing balance, recovery, and performance.

🌆 Toronto Adventures and Cultural Experiences – Evenings and weekends feature guided city outings, recreational activities, and visits to top attractions, making every day an opportunity to explore and connect.
